Frequently asked questions.
The questions we hear most before, during and after installing OptinexPC.
Yes. Free includes unlimited PC Health Scans, Cleanup (after confirm), Startup Manager enable/disable (after confirm), Storage Analysis, Performance Center, Privacy Cleanup, Network Tools, and Apps Manager (official uninstaller only). The desktop sidebar also includes local AI Doctor diagnosis, Digital Twin, and Health Timeline. Pro adds Windows Repair, Memory Monitor, Driver Health inventory, Reports, and priority email. See the full pricing comparison.
No. Scans are analyzed locally on your PC. Nothing about your files, documents or browsing activity is required to leave your machine for OptinexPC to work. Read our full Privacy Policy and safety approach.
OptinexPC supports 64-bit Windows 10 and Windows 11. See full details on the System Requirements page.
The health scan is view-only. Cleanup, Startup Manager, Privacy Cleanup and Windows Repair change the PC only after you confirm. Cleanup never targets personal documents, photos or media. Repair tools that Windows marks as elevated also show a UAC prompt, and you can create a restore point first. See our full Safety page.
That module ships in OptinexPC Pro 1.4.3 — it is not a missing Preview placeholder. Windows Repair runs SFC, DISM, chkdsk, DNS, Winsock and Update repair after confirm and UAC. Reports is this PC's scan history. Driver Health is Pro inventory only (no updates). File Shredder, Registry Cleaner, One-Click Repair and scheduled scans are coming soon.

No. OptinexPC focuses on optimization, cleanup and system health — it does not scan for or remove malware, and isn't a replacement for Windows Defender or a dedicated antivirus product. Run it alongside your existing security software, not instead of it.
