Terms of Service
Last updated 5 September 2026. These terms govern your use of the OptinexPC website, OptinexPC desktop application, OPTINEX Shield, and OPTINEX Uninstaller.
1. Acceptance of terms
By accessing this website or installing OptinexPC, OPTINEX Shield, or OPTINEX Uninstaller, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the website or software.
2. License to use the software
Subject to these terms and the plan you select on the Pricing page, Optinex grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use the application you purchased on the number of devices permitted by that plan, for as long as your subscription or free license remains active. OptinexPC Pro, OPTINEX Shield Platinum, and Uninstaller Pro are separate products with separate keys.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to reverse engineer, resell, sublicense or use Optinex software to build a competing product, and not to use the software in a way that violates applicable law or interferes with another person's use of their device.
4. Feature availability
Capabilities described as live on this site match the current public installers (OptinexPC 1.4.3, OPTINEX Shield 1.0.0, and Uninstaller 1.0.1). File Shredder, Registry Cleaner, One-Click Repair and scheduled scans are coming soon and are not included today. We may change the scope, timeline or design of unreleased features before they ship.
5. No warranty
Optinex software is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. While we design every scan, cleanup and repair action to be conservative and to require confirmation (see our Safety approach), we cannot guarantee that any specific system change will be free of unintended effects on every hardware and software configuration.
6. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Optinex is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from use of the website or software, including data loss that results from a system-level change you chose to apply.
7. Subscription, billing and cancellation
Paid OptinexPC Pro, OPTINEX Shield Platinum, and Uninstaller Pro licenses are purchased through automated PayPal checkout on this site. OptinexPC Pro is $79.99 per PC per year with published 1-5 PC plans. Shield Platinum is $169.99 per year for 1 PC. Shield Platinum is $169.99 per year for 1 PC. Uninstaller Pro is $24.99 per year for 1 PC. Custom checkout is for Optinex services and receipts and does not issue a software key. See Pricing and the Refund Policy.
8. Termination
You may stop using Optinex software and uninstall it at any time. We may suspend or terminate access to paid features if these terms are violated, with notice where practical.
9. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the product evolves. The "last updated" date at the top of this page will reflect the most recent revision.
