Local-first processing
Diagnostic scans run and are analyzed on your device. OptinexPC does not require your files, browsing history or documents to be uploaded anywhere for a scan to work. OPTINEX Shield (separate license) uses Microsoft Defender for malware detection, plus ransomware canaries, firewall profile, and Exploit Guard/ASR where Windows allows — not a third-party AV engine and not a VPN.
Review before change
PC Health Scan is view-only. Cleanup, Startup Manager, Privacy Cleanup and Windows Repair explain what they will do, then wait for your confirmation before anything changes. Repair tools that Windows marks as elevated also show a UAC prompt.
Reversible when it matters
You can re-enable a startup entry you disabled. Windows Repair can create a restore point before system-level work. Cleanup deletes junk you confirmed — Recycle Bin emptying is not undo from inside OptinexPC.
Conservative scope
Cleanup is limited to Windows Temp, User Temp, Recycle Bin, thumbnails, recent shortcuts and browser cache. Personal documents, photos and media are never targeted by Cleanup or Privacy Cleanup.
No bundled extras
OptinexPC installs exactly what you asked for — no bundled toolbars, browser hijackers or third-party offers riding along with the setup package.
